Bunnies are Coming! – A Shopping Guide

Ok, so the Easter Bunny is not bringing me a real rabbit I am sad to say. What Easter has brought, however, is a ton of adorable, bunny-adorned house items in all of my favorite stores! I keep getting emails about the adorable plates, door mats, and rabbit figurines coming to stores soon, so I figured I would share my current obsessions with you.

If you’re bunny centered like I am, the best time to shop for these items is the week after Easter. All of the home decorations plastered with rabbits tend to go on super sale right around then…though I’m keen to use them all year long! Wait if you can, otherwise check these adorable chachkies out!

These beautiful dishes at William Sonoma are a fantastic addition to any Easter table. Can’t you see yourself sipping tea from that mug with the bunny peaking right out at you each morning!?

A welcome home from this cute little doormat from World Market would certainly put a smile on my face. And at $12.99, who could resist?

I’m certain you could think of something to serve off of this rabbit serving dish from Crate and Barrel… some raspberry topped lemon lime squares possibly?

Listen, I know my bunny obsession is a little out of hand… but hear me out, these napkin rings from Pier 1 Imports have ears on them. Sounds perfect to me! (sorry about the magnitude of ear puns)

Trendy Home Decor: DIY Geometric Gold Painted Tray

DIY Geometric Gold Painted Tray 8

Happy New Years, bunnies! I’m not big on New Years resolutions per say, but I am big on New Years cleaning and purging of junk. I love getting rid of things because it makes room for new, beautiful projects! Continue reading “Trendy Home Decor: DIY Geometric Gold Painted Tray”

Sha-Bam, DIY Pillow Sham!

DIY Pillow Sham by Bunny Baubles Blog

Beds with tons of white linens are so heavenly to me. There’s something great about jumping into a fully white bed with a puffy comforter and luxuriously soft sheets that makes you feel like you’re soaring on a cloud. It’s restful, and feels like you’re staying at a five star resort. I made sure when I moved into my new place that the bed was the one place I invested some money. I was left with a dreamy sleeping zone… yet somehow it wasn’t very me. I really like clean white…but I LOVE color. Continue reading “Sha-Bam, DIY Pillow Sham!”

Modern Gilded Mirror DIY

Modern Gilded Mirror DIY Cover

Megan and I moved last week! Although moving is tremendously painful for us to have just relocated upstairs in our building, we gained an incredible view of downtown Houston and lowered our rent. We’re quite please with our new place. Moving is also a great thing to do, in my opinion, because you really clear out the stuff you don’t really need. I was able to finally raid my closet of old clothes from high school and things that never got unpacked from my first move. It also inspired a redecoration movement… a cheap DIY one at that! DIY Magic Pom Poms

Magic Pom Poms from Bunny Baubles.JPG

So these amazing pom pom balls were the center point to the decor at my Birthday Tea Party. I needed something fun and whimsical to match the youthful tea party theme, but also beautiful and elegant because….well it was technically an adult tea party after all. And I like pretty things. Surprised? I loved the idea of paper lanterns or beautiful flower arrangements, but I had already spent so much on food and booze (to come soon) that I didn’t really want to shell out a lot more on decor. Inspiration hit at the craft store and I picked up some tissue paper and string. Continue reading “DIY Magic Pom Poms”

Lamp Revamp

Lamp Revamp - Lamp with ombre green dots

By popular demand I was asked to write a post on home decor this week! It just so happens that I’d been meaning to do something about the sad lampshade I had on my desk. Over years of moving it into and out of storage during college, some odd stains and dents had really distressed the shade, and not in that cute way people are always looking for. I could have just bought a new one, but I really wanted to find a way to reuse the one I already had. Continue reading “Lamp Revamp”

Herringbone Brick Patterned Art DIY

DIY Canvas Picture Frame by Bunny Baubles Blog 8

Buying a huge canvas on a whim at a craft store was something I had always wanted to do. So I did it!… and then I had no idea what to paint. Such a large surface was slightly intimidating, though I really needed artwork to go above the couch. And so began the ever enticing, and always addicting, Pinterest filled afternoon. I found this great painting that looked so amazing and it was listed as a DIY, but it turned out to be something you could purchase and there were no instructions for creating it. Booooo! Jewelry On Display

Bunny Baubles DIY Jewelry Holder

My bulletin board was something of a travesty, holding a couple of ticket stubs and a coupon to get my oil changed. My necklaces were also quite the mess. Shoved into an organizer 3 per compartment, they didn’t stay as arranged as one would hope… Continue reading “Jewelry On Display”
