This Winter has been the season of FUR! I’ve seen so many amazing fur coats, especially on my trip to London, and was totally inspired to pick one up. Not surprisingly, a fur jacket is not a cheap item to purchase, most of them starting around $75 – 100. Could I make one? I wasn’t really confident, to be honest.
When it comes to Valentines Day, Kyle and I usually don’t do anything too crazy. We like to make dinner at home and avoid the crowds, and sometimes he indulges me and lets me pick a high quality chick flick. We do, however, love to go out to the symphony in the winter months, and for those occasions, I like to bring out something a little more special! Two things make me really excited about today’s DIY:
Have you been holding out on chokers like I have? My obsession with the 90’s started with the music and ended at the TV shows. I never thought I would find myself donning flannel and chokers again… until 2016 hit. Fashion trends are so cyclical, and though it sometimes takes me a little while to think, “OK, it does look cool again.”, I usually embrace them in the end.
“Will it ever feel like Fall?” is what all Houstonians are asking themselves this year. I’ve got leather leggings, monstrous scarves, over the knee boots, and sweaters just yearning to be pulled out of the closet. Alas, another weekend that could legitimately be spent at the pool… we should probably stop complaining.
